BIOGRAPHY
To know more about the painter
Civil ingénieur INSA Lyon i discovered the painting beside my grandfather. Child i loved his still life and the smell of his studio.
In 1976 during a trip to Amsterdam i was shocked in front of the lights and colors of vanGogh paintings. it was a click that led me to discover Dutch painting Vermeer, Rembrandt and Flemish paintings.
From 1979 to 1982 i trained with a master Michel Malgrand painter native of Lyon. I recieved a complete training and lot of technics drawing, ink, charcoal, oil painting etc.. .
I chose mainly oil painting for possibilities of work on color. Since 2017 i am painting every day
When i am travelling i visit the paintings of the world's great museums.
My main themes are colored paintings of feelings impressions and cities like Lyon Venise and portraitures and still life.
